NHWC Texas 2012 Training Workshop

The 2012 NHWC Texas 2012 Training Workshop will
be held the day before the Texas Floodplain Management Association (TFMA) Fall
Conference at the same hotel,
providing the opportunity to participate in both events. Continuing Education
Credits (CECs) will be available for Certified Floodplain Managers (CFMs).
This one-day
workshop is sponsored by the National Hydrologic Warning Council (NHWC) and the
Texas Floodplain Management Association (TFMA) and
is designed for: Owners and operators of high hazard dams and levees,
River authorities, Emergency managers, Floodplain managers, Flood control
districts, Public works officials, Drainage and flood control engineers, Owners
and operators of existing hydrologic warning systems, and any others who have a
need to better understand the benefits of hydrologic warning systems in
managing flood risk.

The TFMA has extended their room rate of $119 per night (sgl/dbl) to the NHWC workshop attendees. Be sure to book your room soon, while reduced rate rooms are still available.
